Imagining Watercolor
Happy Spring!
hey there~!
I’m teaching a workshop called Imagining Watercolor these next two Saturdays, March 21 & 28, 11am-2pm Eastern Time.
The registration closes at 3pm EST on Friday the 20th and four spaces have opened because four people can only watch via recording so that means you can join the party! Read all about it below:
Imagining Watercolor is a full immersion over two Saturdays and a beautiful workshop to welcome Spring together!
With demos and exercises and lots of time to paint together, this workshop will be an artistic exploration, a letting go and a salve for rough times. Using watercolor to liberate your practice, to paint freely and fully and probably too wetly. We’ll use words and music and other water soluble materials too, to find expression and not perfection and to find our inner wonk and paint what we feel and see as it begins and appears on the paper.
Three hour sessions over two Saturdays means there will be lots of time for painting and meditation with materials and also for show and tell!
Session 1/Climb in: Cloud Journals, Watercolor Meditations, and Color Pleasures
Session 2/Getting Good With It: Flowers and Creatures, Lovers and Fighters
Also…I’ll also be sending out my art supply recs to paid subscribers next week as a thank you for your support! But really thank you to anyone who reads what I write here. I so appreciate you! And am excited for this workshop. I think it will be a good one.
AND/OR…
I designed a palette for LDBA, the shop that makes handmade watercolors and where I teach workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico when Im here (I’m here!). I created the palette with this workshop in mind, colors that magically mix and become what you need them to be. It’s a magical one.
It comes with choices, CHOICES! I love and hate choices but here is one. The curious may click here to see!
That’s all…xoxoxo
